United Airlines has increased the bonus offer for their top of the line credit card, the United Club Card. This premium credit card from Chase features a membership to United Club, two free checked bags, and Premier Access. For the frequent United traveler this would be the perfect card in their wallet for all the premium access it gives you for the airline.
This increased offer of 50,000 miles after $3,000 of spending only sweetens the deal for the card. By our calculations those 50,000 miles are worth about $700 in travel on the conservative side. You’ll get even more value on those miles with access to the United Club lounges, Premiere Access travel services, and free checked bags. Not to mention your Discoverist status at Hyatt would add value to any booking you make.
While there are better travel credit cards out there like the Chase Sapphire Reserve and American Express Platinum, this card is specifically tailored to United travelers and offers them awesome benefits they wouldn’t get from any other card.

Final Thoughts
This card is subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule so it would alienate most people from this card if you’ve opened more than 5 credit cards in the past 24 months. As stated before this card is really tailored to the dedicated United traveler and would be an awesome value for them if you fly regularly and on United flights. If you want a good overall travel card this isn’t the one and you’d want to look more closely at the Chase Sapphire Reserve or American Express Platinum. The annual fee is quite steep at $450 and 50,000 miles isn’t a lot when United is offering their Explorer card for 40,000 miles and only a $95 annual fee. Personally I’m not loyal to one brand over the other, although Delta is my favorite right now, so I wouldn’t lock myself down to only one airline when a better value could be found elsewhere.
