With the Princess Juliana International Airport located right on a popular beach, Maho Beach, you can lay on the beach with planes going right over your head.
At Princess Juliana International Airport the planes takeoff and land the same way, as such when planes take off their jet blast points right out to Maho Beach and makes for some amusing people watching as they try to stand behind a plane with the power turned up to full.
